WTS - "World Toy Soldier" began as part of the title of a book, The World Toy Soldier Directory & Compendium. It was descriptive of the author's philosophy about the hobby: - that toy soldier collecting was a global past time and was popular in nearly every country on the planet. The first book proved this belief to be true and demonstrated that toy soldier collectors can be found in the most remote and distant parts of the planet.
